| 盛夏時(shí)節(jié)，我很高興再次對(duì)德國(guó)進(jìn)行國(guó)事訪問(wèn)，并出席二十國(guó)集團(tuán)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人漢堡峰會(huì)。 | It gives me great pleasure to pay a state visit to Germany again and attend the G20 Hamburg Summit in the height of summer. |
| 這次訪問(wèn)恰逢中德建交45周年。45年來(lái)，中德關(guān)系發(fā)展總體順利，務(wù)實(shí)合作不斷加深。2014年我首次對(duì)德國(guó)進(jìn)行國(guó)事訪問(wèn)期間，雙方一致同意將兩國(guó)關(guān)系提升為全方位戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系，翻開(kāi)了中德關(guān)系新篇章。 | My visit coincides with the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Germany. Forty-five years on, our two countries have seen smooth progress in bilateral ties and deepened practical cooperation across the board. During my first state visit to Germany in 2014, the two sides agreed to elevate our relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership, opening a new chapter in the history of China-Germany relations. |

Frequent exchanges of high-level visits have boosted mutual understanding and political mutual trust between our two countries. The Joint Program of Action on Cooperation: Shaping Innovation Together published in 2014 has become a master plan guiding the medium-to-long-term development of bilateral ties. The two sides have established the inter-governmental consultation as well as more than 70 other dialogue and cooperation mechanisms at various levels. In particular, the establishment of mechanisms such as the strategic dialogue on diplomacy and security, high level economic and financial dialogue, people-to-people dialogue, security dialogue and the economic advisory committee have added new dimensions to our comprehensive strategic partnership. Our cooperation has also been extended to areas such as space, ocean, the polar regions and cyberspace. |

Germany has stayed as China's largest trading partner in Europe for 42 years in a row. According to German statistics, two-way trade reached 170 billion euros in 2016 and China became Germany's largest trading partner for the first time. Germany ranks the top among European countries in terms of technology transfer to China. As of May 2017, China signed with Germany a total of 76.82 billion dollars worth of technology transfer contracts. China-Germany investment cooperation has moved from a one-way street onto a two-way express lane. Cities such as Duisburg and Hamburg have become major hubs on the routes of China-Europe freight trains. Practical cooperation between China and Germany not only sets the pace for China-Europe relations, but also serves as a successful model of win-win cooperation between the world's most important economies. |
| ——中德人文交流蓬勃發(fā)展。2013年以來(lái)，兩國(guó)相繼舉行語(yǔ)言年、創(chuàng)新伙伴年、青少年交流年等大型交流年活動(dòng)。中國(guó)在德國(guó)已開(kāi)設(shè)中國(guó)文化中心以及19所孔子學(xué)院、4所孔子課堂，德國(guó)歌德學(xué)院、德意志學(xué)術(shù)交流中心等在華機(jī)構(gòu)也積極致力于中德人文交流。超過(guò)4萬(wàn)名中國(guó)學(xué)生在德國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)，是德國(guó)最大的外國(guó)留學(xué)生群體；在華德國(guó)專家多達(dá)3萬(wàn)人，德國(guó)留學(xué)生也達(dá)到8200人。2016年，中德人員往來(lái)超過(guò)200萬(wàn)人次。兩國(guó)地方交流頻密，目前已建立91對(duì)友好省州（市）關(guān)系。2016年11月，中德簽署了多項(xiàng)足球合作協(xié)議，兩國(guó)足球合作邁出新步伐。 | -- China-Germany cultural and people-to-people exchanges are flourishing. Since 2013, the two countries have successfully held major events ranging from the language year, the year of innovation partnership to the year of youth exchange. China has set up the China Culture Center, 19 Confucius institutes and four Confucius classrooms in Germany, while German institutes in China such as the Goethe-Institut and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst have also been actively engaged in cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides. The 40,000 plus Chinese students studying in Germany make up Germany's largest group of international students, and there are over 30,000 German experts and 8,200 German students studying in China. More than two million people traveled between China and Germany in 2016. With 91 pairs of sister provinces/states and cities between us, our two countries also enjoy frequent and close exchanges at the subnational level. In November 2016, the two countries signed multiple agreements on football cooperation, marking new progress in this area. |

The trends towards multi-polarity, economic globalization, application of information technologies in societies and cultural diversity have gained greater momentum. While mankind increasingly find ourselves in a community of shared future, we also live in a world fraught with challenges. Regional hotspots, the spread of terrorism, the deficits in peace, development and governance all pose grave challenges to the entire humanity. |
| 中國(guó)和德國(guó)作為世界第二和第四大經(jīng)濟(jì)體、主要貿(mào)易大國(guó)、具有重要影響力的國(guó)家，中德兩國(guó)要發(fā)展好自己，也要對(duì)世界和地區(qū)和平、穩(wěn)定、繁榮肩負(fù)起重要責(zé)任。 | As the world's second and fourth largest economies and key trading nations with major influence, China and Germany, while pursuing our own development, also need to shoulder important responsibility of promoting regional and international peace, stability and prosperity. |

We need to properly handle differences through equal-footed dialogue and friendly consultation and give each other understanding and support on issues concerning our respective core interests and major concerns. |

| 我們要發(fā)揮高級(jí)別人文交流對(duì)話機(jī)制的統(tǒng)籌協(xié)調(diào)作用，深化教育、文化、科技、旅游、衛(wèi)生、智庫(kù)、媒體、足球等領(lǐng)域合作，實(shí)施簽證等便利化措施，拉近兩國(guó)民眾距離。我很高興這次訪問(wèn)期間將同默克爾總理一道出席柏林動(dòng)物園大熊貓館開(kāi)館活動(dòng)，希望已經(jīng)抵達(dá)柏林的這對(duì)大熊貓成為中德友誼的使者。 | We need to harness the coordination role of the High-Level People-to-People Exchange Dialogue Mechanism, deepen cooperation in education, culture, science and technology, tourism, health, think tanks, media, football and other fields, implement visa-related and other facilitation measures and bring our two peoples closer to each other. I am delighted that, during the visit, I will join Chancellor Angela Merkel at the opening of the Panda Garden at Zoo Berlin. I hope this pair of giant pandas who have already arrived in Berlin will serve as envoys of China-Germany friendship. |

| 當(dāng)前，世界經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)勢(shì)頭進(jìn)一步鞏固，發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家和新興市場(chǎng)國(guó)家經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)普遍向好，但也面臨嚴(yán)峻挑戰(zhàn)。在這一背景下，二十國(guó)集團(tuán)繼續(xù)發(fā)揮國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)合作主要論壇作用、落實(shí)杭州峰會(huì)及歷屆峰會(huì)共識(shí)、引領(lǐng)世界經(jīng)濟(jì)前進(jìn)方向尤為重要，也符合各方利益。中方支持德方在漢堡舉辦一屆成功的峰會(huì)，也對(duì)這次峰會(huì)充滿期待。 | Despite further consolidation of growth momentum and the upbeat economic outlook in both the developed and emerging economies, daunting challenges still persist in the world economy. Against such a backdrop, it is all the more important that the G20, as the premier forum for international economic cooperation, continues to follow through on the consensus reached at Hangzhou and all its previous Summits and lead the way forward for the world economy.
